The core value of premium transparent correction tape lies in its multi-layered ribbon structure. A high-grade dry-transfer tape typically consists of a ultra-thin PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) carrier backing, ranging between 12 to 15 microns. This film is coated with a release agent, followed by an opaque, high-opacity pigment layer containing premium Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂), and topped with a pressure-sensitive dry adhesive. During application, the applicator tip applies targeted shear pressure, allowing the adhesive layer to bond instantly with the cellulose fibers of paper while cleanly peeling away from the transparent PET film. Developing this coating balance requires advanced chemical formulating and modern automated testing.
